Clarke County High School is a part of the Clarke County School District. The school is located approximately 60 miles west  of Washington, D.C.

The school's population is just over 750 students which places it in the A  Classification. If the band were to compete with schools the size of Clarke County High School they would be the only band in their class. Instead they compete against schools with over twice their population.  The band is the one of the largest student organizations on campus with an enrollment in excess of 60 members and boasts the highest G.P.A. of any organization on campus.  The band is under the direction of Directors Mark Curry and Greg Abell.

The Marching Band currently competes in Chapter 13 of Tournament of Bands as well as other competitions across the mid-atlantic area.  Other instrumental organizations at CCHS are: Indoor Drumline, Jazz Ensemble, Indoor Color Guard and a Basketball Pep-Band
